Scientific Name: Batocera rufomaculata De Geer
The mature is one of the longhorn beetle types. The newly hatched worn is creamy white which burrows under the bark. Its flaky dung sticks outside at the intervals. The mature worm is 8-10 cm. long. Larva stage is 280 days. After that, it drills through the hard wood, shrinks and stays in a pupa case and will come out again when it becomes mature.
Prevention and Elimination
1. Bark the destroyed bark and spray with Ozophryne 500-800cc. (usage rate is per 200 ltr. of water).
