Entomopathogenic fungi ruin root system and spread to the tubes. As a result, nutrients and water cannot be delivered to the parts so the leaf is rough and withers. Then, the tree deteriorates and dies. The bole of tree, bough and bark has the red brown rubber leaks from the crack.
Painting durian tree that is covered with moss, which is a source of fungi and insects, prevents the direct damage from the epiphytotic of moss on the bough and trunk, unless it spreads to the leaf which will obstruct the photosynthesis or to the fruit which cannot be washed.
To restore durian tree after harvest, at least two set of leaves should be produced to be the source of nutrients and nourish the trunk. After that, the third set of leaves should be produced to allow the truck to receive the flowering substance to put forth leave-buds.
