The mature durian seed borer lays eggs on the fruit near the calyx. When the fruit is 6-week old to the harvest period, it pierces through to eat the seed and excretes to dirty the flesh.
Green weevil is in the Beetle families. The mature green weevil has different colors such as yellow, gray, black, or green and yellow. Its trunk-shaped mouth is very outstanding. Green weevil eats leaf and bud which obstructs the growth. The mature green weevil stays in group under the leaf and will drop to the ground when being disturbed.
A warm and mature borer pierces through the trunk and boughs. It is mostly found at the bottom and branches of the durian tree with root rot. A hole is at the bottom where the rim has a worm’s dung. The drill mark of the weevil causes the root rot.
Termite lives underground and eats the root, trunk, dead plants, wood carcass, and jackstay to fasten the decay.
It has the large mass with a drilling mouth. The caterpillar and the mature longan stink bug ruin the longan tree by sucking from the bud, young leaf, flowers, and young fruit. Consequently, the bud and young leaf dry and the flower is ruined and falls. The mature one hides under the tree until it starts flowering.
